Vilnius University is the oldest and largest public research university in Lithuania. Currently, it is the most popular research institute that ranks among the top 29% of higher education institutes across the world. The university was established in 1579 by Stephen Bathory as the Jesuit Academy of Vilnius. The university has faculties in Siauliai and Kaunas. It is composed of 15 academic faculties offering more than 200 programs in several academic disciplines and houses approximately 24,000 students. The oldest campus of the University has 13 courtyards and buildings that house the Rector’s office, the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy, the Library and the Department of History. P. Skargos, M.K. Sarbievijus, the Library courtyard and the Observatory courtyard are the main four courtyards of the university. The campus facilities of the university are given below.

Amphitheatric Hall with 85 seats: This hall has 85 workplaces that are equipped with a computer and a screen mirroring via "Panasonic PT-VW 340, magnetic whiteboard and TV screen". The hall is used for lectures, presentations and seminars.

Amphitheatric Hall with 100 seats: This hall has a workplace for 100 people and is equipped with a screen mirroring via "Panasonic PT-VW 340", magnetic whiteboard and TV screen and a computer with MS Office 2016 software package. Students can easily reach this hall through public transport. The hall can be used for lectures, presentations and seminars.

Amphitheatric Hall with 150 seats: This is a large hall with 150 workplaces. The hall has a computer system with MS Office 2016 Software Package, 2 TV screens, a sound system, a magnetic whiteboard, an automatic air conditioning system, a clock, a grandstand, and a screen mirroring via "Optoma projector".

Amphitheatric Hall with 68 seats: It is a horizontal room with 68 workplaces. The hall is equipped with a screen mirroring via "Sanyo PDG DWL 100", a magnetic whiteboard and TV screen and a computer with MS Office 2016 software package.
