New Zealand has announced the acceptance of the IELTS One Skill Retake Option

This Thursday, Immigration New Zealand announced the acceptance of the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) one-skill retake system for international students to streamline their migration and visa application process.

The IELTS One Skill Retake will allow the test takers to retake any one of the skills from four skills ( reading, listening, writing or speaking) if they haven’t gotten the desired scores in any skill test on the first attempt.

Immigration New Zealand recognized this decision as reliable and valid in assessing English language proficiency tests that will meet the requirements of international migration and study in New Zealand.

This innovation will empower students to enhance their specific language skills to better align with their study abroad requirements.

The IELTS One Skill Retake will facilitate a better personalised approach to language assessment by enabling students to focus on refining individual language skills.

IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR) is accepted by around 900 organizations such as the UK Visas and Immigration, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and national boards,  the Australian Department of Home Affairs and a huge number of universities and colleges abroad. Now it is available at selected IELTS test centres situated in over 100 countries globally.

Candidates who choose an IELTS One Skill Retake will receive a second TRF (Test Report Form) along with their new scores which they can use to study abroad and immigration.

This action has made it easy for international students to clear their Language proficiency tests. For more study abroad news and opportunities, visit the official website of Career Clinic and apply for the next intake now.
