Overview

The Technical University of Denmark, often simply referred to as DTU, is a polytechnic university and school of engineering. It was established in 1829 at the dynamism of Hans Cristian Oersted as Denmark’s first polytechnic, and it is today graded between Europe’s major engineering organizations. In 1890 a new construction multiplex was finalized and originated in Solvgade. The new construction was designed by the architect Johan Daniel Herholdt. In 1903, the College of Higher Technology inaugurated the education of electrical engineers in extension to that of the building engineers, the manufacturing engineers, and the mechanical engineers who earlier at that time were reality instructors at the college. Technical University of Denmark in 1960 a resolution was made to build the institute of modern Technology to the latest and bigger provision in Lyngby, north of Copenhagen. They originated on 17 May 1974. On 23 and 24 November 1967, the university evaluated hub organized the NATO Science delegation Study group first conference considering the newly minted condition “Software Engineering”. As well 11,000 students enroll at the university, of whom 29% are from other countries. Mathematics, information, chemistry, chemical and biochemical engineering, physics, biotechnology and electrical engineering are given the highest priority in Technical University of Denmark.
