ACT at a Glance 2023-24

The American College Testing, or ACT, is a common test that high school students choose to take in order to get into the colleges of their choice in the United States and other English-speaking countries. By evaluating applicants on multiple grounds, such as mathematical aptitude, written, scientific, and verbal skills, the test evaluates a student's abilities and provides colleges with the necessary information to process admission. • The exam is required of candidates two months prior to the deadline for applying to the desired college.
• While they must meet the requirements of the desired college, there is no other specific eligibility requirement for the ACT.
